Travertine

Travertine is a very porous sedimentary rock that has formed from the sediments of rivers, mineral springs and parts of plants millions of years ago, creating aneverlasting beauty. Because of its durability, excellent decorative characteristics and low hardness, travertine is one of the most commonly used stones in the contemporary architecture. 
It is widely used in wall and floor decoration. Travertine pores can be left open, or they can be filled with a suitable mastic. With the help of polishing, the surface can be made smooth and glossy.
